Victorian Day is an annual festival held the first Saturday every May in downtown Grand Ledge, Michigan.
Activities take place throughout the downtown area, with demonstrations and shopping along Bridge Street and at Maypole Park, and Civil War encampments at Island Park.
All events and demonstrations are free of charge between 10am and 5pm.
Some of the local shops will be offering themed events or discounts, and merchants, including a General Store, will be set up in Maypole Park.
Restroom facilities are available at several locations around town, including Sweet Linda’s Cafe, Ledge Craft Lane, and the Cancun Mexican Grill building on Bridge and Jefferson Streets.
Leashed pets are welcome outdoors at the festival.
Victorian dress is encouraged but definitely not required.

Do you have ideas, a skill or craft, or performance piece you’d like to share at this year’s event? Our Planning Committee is excited to hear about it!
We have some exciting new ideas on the table this year, and we’re looking for participants and sponsors for individual events as well as the festival as a whole.
Our presenters, re-enactors, and sponsors are the beating heart of Victorian Day, and we really can’t do it without you.
According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac long-range prediction, we can expect around 57°F on festival day this year.
