Dear Fellow Business Person,
You are invited to participate in the upcoming 12th Annual Victorian Day celebration in Grand Ledge. There are a large number of activities planned to entice visitors to come explore and shop in our community.
We need to raise at least $1,500 to cover our expenses and ask that your business help by contributing $50 or more. In return, your business will be promoted in the printed material and listed as a sponsor on the Web site. Ten dollars of your donation will go to a Grand Ledge Shopping Dollars drawing. The winners will receive a list of the participating business where they can use these dollars.
To be successful at drawing in visitors and shoppers, your participation is essential.
We plan to distribute 5,000 printed invitations, about 2,000 by direct mail and the rest through the Michigan State Visitor's Centers, the Lansing Convention Center, local businesses, and placement in nearby communities. Ads will be placed in the local paper, and we will take advantage of public service announcements through radio, television, and newspapers. The Web site you're now on also contains extensive information about the event and photos from previous Victorian Days. We suggest you take some time to check it out.
The parade application is also online, and we encourage you to participate in the non-motorized parade which steps off Saturday at noon.
