We hope you will be able to join us with your Victorian themed craft, activity, or demonstration.
We strive to provide a variety of activities for both adults and children. Some of those that are already scheduled are as follows: a non-motorized parade at 12:00 (noon), Teddy Bear Tea, Funeral Symposium, May Pole Dance, Edison Film Festival, High Tea & Costume Show, a Pie Judging, a quilt show, Civil War encampment and skirmish, carriage rides, food booth and craft and other demonstrations.
Activities should be set up by 10:00 am and run until 5:00 pm. If you cannot be available during all these hours, please contact Marilyn Smith at 517-627-5170 or email her at marnor1@comcast.net. Most demonstrators will be at May Pole Park (center of 200 block on Bridge Street) if the weather cooperates. Otherwise alternative indoor space will be available. We will contact you to verify your space.
We encourage all participants to dress in Victorian garb; you can find suggestions on our Costume page.
Victorian Day is sponsored by Growing Business in Grand Ledge (GBGL), an affiliate of the Grand Ledge Area Chamber of Commerce.
Thank you for your participation,
The Victorian Days Planning Committee
